BELGIUM
A long term project involving persons of different generations could be set up and implemented in several stages.
Some initiative by the Adult Education Centres could be taken with the help of local authorities to identify the isolated aged persons and invite them to a stimulating social gathering. It would be a good idea to invite young people to do the same.
A number of playful activities adapted to the target group profile could be presented, including music and dance.
The project should include participation of already computer literate old aged persons.
ITALY To teach information technology with the help of young people, attending a cultural organization where it is possible to learn this technology and using smart phones and mobile phones. socialize. Along with the increase of knowledge also motivation to learn rises, so it is very important
to urge people to learn and help them start learning.

  • The involvement of volunteers - consultants, with good computer skills, is essential.
  • The owners of the cafes should be encouraged to support this training by providing them with some

benefits from municipality (e.g. free Internet access).

SPAIN
Catching the attention of seniors with technology resources supported in mobile devices, mainly with a playful aim.
Training a group of volunteers to get involved at a later stage in the development of education and activities.
The aim is to make the volunteers act as monitors who share their acquired knowledge with other seniors. We want them to learn how to contact their family through e-mail or videoconference, to play online, look up useful information about daily life or to use social networks.
The creation of a digital platform would be an ideal device to coordinate the tasks of the volunteers.
