First day- Thursday 30^th January  2014

The representative of Latvian partner gave warm welcomes to all the participants of the meeting in Riga, despite the coldest day this winter.

1. Short presentation of the meeting-programme

Coordinator Barbara Wiesen presented in short the meeting programme. Participants have received this programme first by e-mail and also during the meeting (in paper).

2. Review of Tasks after the last meeting 

Italian partner prepared and presented the meeting report from the Luxemburg meeting in September 2013 . All KEY persons have signed each copy of them.

The tasks of the project for the meeting in Latvia were reminded.

During this meeting in Riga the following countries took following tasks :

R-T Rep:  Meeting Reporter - Poland

SAT-D Rep :            Synthesizer – Turkey, Belgium

3. First study case from Belgium

Cyprus partner has presented Synapsis Paper C from the first case from Belgium.

He has summarized all proposals submitted by partners in the project meeting in Luxemburg and put it in the paper - main ideas, possible options , conclusions..

For future activities, coordinator and Daniel Oddie recommended to prepare  Synopsis and also all documents (Papers) prepared by partners in ONLY ONE PAGE.

He reminded about the necessity of sending Synopsis to all partners before the meeting (in this case Synthesizers will send it till the end of March). Belgium partner will support Turkish partner in preparing one Synapsis (paper C) because after this meeting there will be prepared all three Synapsises for the 3 new case studies.

Next, all organizations (except Belgium) presented results of their work- Paper B. Some of them has shown a Power Point presentation. These presentations will be uploaded to the webpage of project.

Daniel Oddie gave thanks for all participants for the interesting work and concluded that it will be useful for all persons who are working with vulnerable learners.

It was established that all presentations - which will be shown during the meeting in Cyprus - should be clear and very short because of limited time.

We will be presenting 3 subjects what finally means 24 presentations.

It was suggested to shortening the speeches, showing only the most important results and photos from workshops that have been conducted.

Barbara gave positive Feed back to Poland and Portugal, who presented their Paper –B solutions in short Power Point Presentation. This was much more easy for the other partners to follow and to understand the solutions. Barbara suggested to prepare this for the next meeting for the 3 new cases for all partners. But it should be really short. Only 5 minutes presentation /partner /case. The Paper B should be written on one page. (Template)

4. New case study

The partners from Cyprus, Italy, Spain have presented their Case studies –paper A.

Turkey and Belgium representatives will prepare the 1 page of Synapsis (total 3 papers C). It will be shown during the project meeting in Cyprus.

5. Presentation of the Communications base by Portugal 

Paula from Portugal presented possibility to communication via platform Google drive. She reminded that all partners got invitations and she asked about problems with using it. She has shown us the structure of the catalogue in Google drive and explained the possibility of uploading documents by members of this group.

Culture:

In the evening some persons attended in the Opera performance and enjoyed Riga at night.

Second day- Friday 31^stJanuary  2014

During the second day we visited Dobele.  We were official welcomed by the deputy mayor of the city of Dobele and had a tour of the city with na guide. Next we have visited the office of the Dobele Mācību centrs (Training Centre) and took a part in the project meeting (continuation).

1. Presentation of the new Projectlogo and the Webpage by Spain

Logo of each organisation will be upload  to the Google drive .

Antonio from Spain presented the new webpage of project. The webpage address is http://www.proyectosupua.es/thinktank/en

Now all information are in English. The structure of the webpage is very simple.

It has also I-phone function and tablet function.

He explained us each part of webpage (project section, partners, meeting,  case studies, evaluation).

The content of the “Summary” and subsection “Project”: Motivation, Objectives and Strategy, Impact, Relevance, European Added Value was copied from our application form. Also the description of organization.

We decided that all should be presented in the webpage in English + national language.

Daniel Oddie will write a short Summary of each subsection till the end of February.

After that, all partners should translate it and send translation to Antonio.

This is important that each organization is responsible to check if their data are correct .For technical reasons it is not possible to translate headlines in the webpage.

Time for translation:

• 15^th of March 2014 – presentation of each organization, name of the project
• End of April 2014 – summarize and subsections (short version prepared by Daniel)

Next , Antonio has presented logo and we discussed about logo of project.

2. Project - and Partnership Evaluation

E-T Rep

After the first meeting in Luxemburg the evaluator Daniel created the questionnaire, which was answered by one person from each country. The questions related issues of activities and the content of the meetings.

Daniel decided that next time the questionnaire will be not anonymous.

Overall score was very good = 94,4% Results of it will be upload to Google drive.

Coordinator of the project has shown us the draft of Syllabus.

It consists of:

• 9 Papers A – case studies
• 72 Papers B – solutions
• 9 Papers C – Synapsis

Totally: 89 pages

3, Preplanning of the third meeting in Cyprus  (presentation by Cyprus)

Cyprus partner started by showing a film with impressions from Cyprus.

The partner form Turkey needs the Meeting Report signed by all partners. We will

do this during the next meeting, when the Report is approved by all partners.

Playful activities

We were divided to 2 groups and played together.

The games were called:

1. Business game - Manage your resources  and 

2. Business game - Production of planners/diaries.

After this point the working meeting was finished . Next we moved to Jelgava a had a really surprise. We took a part in a multicoloured show/ performance with traditional folk dances and songs . At night we had a goodbye dinner in the town centre.

Saturday – the 1 ^st of February it was a day of departure of several delegations. The partners who haven`t left had possibility to visit some interesting places in Riga.
